CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Cavaliers and former interim head coach, Larry Drew, have parted ways. According to NBA.com, Drew and the Cavaliers mutually decided to go in different directions. Drew was promoted to the interim head coaching role after the Cavaliers fired former coach Tyronn Lue six games into the 2018-19 NBA season.
Drew finished 19-57 in the games he coached in the 2018-19 season and was an assistant on Lue's staff for the 2016 NBA Championship team.
