THREE AND ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NINETEEN SEASONS!
GET HYPE BOYS
WOOF WOOF WOOF
my homework was roughly 15 minutes of looking at wiki, but don't ruin this for me if I'm wrong because it feels great. What is this, winning games in the second half? SCORING POINTS?! MY BROWNIES?!
YESSSSSSSSSSS
We have 30 runs of over 10 yards... more than 10 more than #2. It's an explosive running attack without a running QB. Basically the best after 4 games... that doesn't have Vick or Lamar... over the past decade (forgot the timeframe).
I believe we have the softest schedule in the league now. If we go 9-3, which ain't at all crazy, same pace we're on so far... we're 12-4. Losses to Pitt, Ravens, and Titans, and they might have five players by then. Losses to Ravens and Steelers are anything but sure things.
If we "only" go 8-4? We hit my 11-5 prediction. The perks of finally starting 3-1.
Wyatt Teller is the NFL's #1 PFF OL. Unreal. I was pimping the hell out of him, especially knowing Callahan's love... but that's a little more than I had in mind (!).
Baker's had 3 straight games at or over 100 PR and 2 straight without a pick. And the training wheels have not come off the passing game just yet.
Defense has to get better. Personnel/rotation changes (more Harrison, Mack, Phillips), a full DL (both Clayborn and Vernon tees up packages), and a fully healthy set of CBs should help us go on that Chiefs 2019 arc, get better week by week.
Oh, and Njoku is back. No clue how they'll manage that, Harrison Bryant is awesome both catching and blocking.
I ain't counting no wins and losses, man. Just like I tell my son's futbol team that I coach:
You wanna win games? Stack, don't count.
Stack plays, stack stops, stack corners, stack goals. But don't count, EVER. You should look up at the final whistle and wonder "did we win? What's the score?"
Now, coaches? We need to count, that's our job. And fans: hell yeah, we can count!
But not me. Not today. Today, I'm just relishing the STACKING this team is doing. They play like I want our soccer team to play: non-stop grind. Non-stop pressure. Non-stop effort. Non-stop STACKING play after play.
It is a DREAM to have my irrationally favorite team play like I actually always wished and hoped: disciplined, smart, tough, creative, clean, non-stop football.
#allbitenobark is a damn amazing saying because it's ORGANIC, it ain't no ridiculous doggy logo or some nostalgia trip. It's what the actual players are saying. Like it originally was.
Just a damn dream that I'm LOVING right now. Cloud nine.
(Plus, soccer brag: our severe underdog team tied a top team 1-1 this weekend. Played their hearts out. Battled. No quit. Ties in soccer can be victories for the spirit and we got one. Great weekend!)
All, strong indications that we might finally have a real head coach who knows how to handle young men and provide a way that they can succeed at what they do best.
Take a moment to soak it all in, EE.
Here 's another factoid that goes with that one....
The Browns have now scored 30 plus points in three consecutive games for the first time in FIFTY ONE years......
(1969. Yup, It's been a minute)
@The Brookster THAT is a fucking stat! Lmfao
Damn straight dudes. A Victory Monday feel-good thread!
I'm gonna round up and say laying a 50-burger on the Cowboys in Big D ... WOW ... didn't see it coming.
All of our big names performed well. I bet Chubb isn't out for long either. A few weeks tops.
Bring on Indy! Start the thread Dawg!
======
The 3-1 Cleveland #Browns are:
1st in rushing yards (818) -1st in yards per carry (5.9)
1st in rushings TDs (8)
1st in defensive takeaways (10)
1st in turnover differential (+6)
And that’s what you call an identity. #AllBiteNoBark

Fuggin' A Right!
I posted I expected 30+. I honestly thought 38 before the game but NEVER did I imagine we'd get there when Chubb went out.
The way that team responded down 14-7. Whew. SUCH a good sign. Nothing AT ALL like what we got used to.
We have a four quarter football team on our hands, boys. First such team since Mangini, most talented version since Bernie and Bill.
Every week is exciting again! Watch out football world!
Add this...
Most Rushing Yards put up on a Dallas Cowboys team EVER!!! Former Cowboy players said the Browns took their manhood!
@Dan in Florida all my buddies who are Cowboys fans were conspicuously quiet yesterday bahahaha.
My one friend is a Giants fan so we shared some mutual glee yesterday.
