We didn't NEED to draft Tommy, but I am sure glad we did. Simply put, he is not a rock in the middle of the defense, he is a damn boulder.
He has copious amounts of natural brute strength, with a very sturdy anchor. When he wants to hold his ground, he ain't moving.
But when he does want to move, his penetrating skills are equally impressive. You can see that he can collapse a pocket single handedly.
And he gets to perfect his craft daily next to the likes of Andrew Billings, Jordan Elliot, and Malik Jackson. That, my friends, is a very deep defensive tackle rotation.
