The 10 day break could not have come at a better time.
Adrian Clayborn, who looked like he was playing with his hair on 🔥 until exiting with an injury, appears to be day to day. Porter Gustin, get ready to answer the door. Opportunity is probably gonna knock.
Yo, 5-0 and 5-1 - heal quickly. You have been missed.

Love what Clayborn is doing, but I'm comfortable with Gustin if giving Clayborn some time off will speed up his recovery. Gustin quietly had a monster game against Cinci. He's got a relentless motor and is looking much more controlled.
All credit to the kid - Chad Thomas was better than Gustin last year. He's come a long way to make the roster and come out swinging like that. Kid is clearly putting in some serious work.
I don't like that we're losing guys faster than we're getting them back. I'm hoping we get a serious influx of players over the next week or two because depleted is not too strong of a word.
it seemed like every 5 minutes yesterday, I was thankful for our win already in the books and no major injuries.
In fact while teams were losing players left and right yesterday, I was thinking AC, Greedy, K-Jo, MJ, and Mack may all be back by the WFT game.
Okay, the hopeful list to return by Sunday
Mack
Greedy
MJ (he was only carefully played in the Bengals game)
K-Jo
OV
AC
Conklin
I think they all have a legit shot, with this mini-bye, to get back on the field by Sunday.
Most importantly is KJo and Mack. We need that middle of the field weakness to be shored up.
Gustin is fine in place of AC, and same for T-Mitch in place of Greedy for the time being, but ideally, we want everyone of course.
After that week in August when it seemed like the entire team was heading for IR, to be 1-1 heading into week 3, and most of them coming back, is pretty good. I'll take it.
To your point...

Great news for @browns - @5mackwilson1 @Greedy and Kevin Johnson all returned to practice today.
It's also only Monday, seems pretty likely they'll all be back. Might hold out the DL who's least well, considering Gustin's play.
Really playing out perfectly. Likely can play it safe on Sunday, make sure we're at our best against the Cowboys. Winning that game to get to 3-1 would be such a boost of confidence to a team that needs to see proof.
