Good luck throwing deep on the Browns now - they effectively have shut off 2 of the 3 deep thirds of the field. I can see why Dorsey didn't want to wait any longer
I absolutely love this pick. Who cares if Greedy can't tackle? If he doesn't allow a catch then he shouldn't need to tackle anyway. Across from Denzel? Good luck NFL offenses.
Paralysis by analysis, my young friend. If the national media cannot find something to point out about a pick in a negative light, they cannot justify their existence. You correctly got right to the heart of the matter and separated the wheat from the chaff.
I know I am playing the old card here and I am bringing up a still painful chapter in Browns history, but in "The Drive" in 1986 - if Chip Moth****cking Banks gets off his ass and does his job and gets to Elway - Browns are in the SB. A good pass rush masks a lot of coverage deficiencies just as a good coverage skills eliminates the need for an "enforcer" who hits hard but has trouble staying with a receiver.
And, keep in mind - you certainly didn't trade up and select Greedy to be a secure tackler in the back 4. Look at our defensive back end now. Denzel, Greedy, Damarious, Morgan, Terrance, Sheldrick - me likey.
Great radio interview
