Last week was one of the best...and worst...games I have ever seen. The Browns offense showed they can not only hang with a top defense, they can dominate them. Baltimore averaged giving up 332 y/g...the Browns hung 493 on them....and have scored over 30 points in 7 games this season.
Meanwhile, the D has been an area of concern. Giving up over 30 in 5 games.
But now things may be changing. Ward looks to be coming back for this game. His presence will free up the S's to attack the line of scrimmage. It will also help the LB's know they have over the top help.
As for the Giants, they are hanging their hats on defense. They are middle of the pack against the pass, but top 10 against the run, allowing only 3.9 y/c.
Offensively, QB Jones is beat up. He had the hamstring, now he has an ankle injury. Ian Rappaport doubts he will play, which means we face Colt McCoy. He has 35 pass attempts on the year, with 1 TD, 1 INT and 155 yards. Obviously his lack of arm strength will allow the Browns to play downhill...and they NYG have given up 41 sacks already.
This SHOULD be a win...and it shouldn't be close.
