CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns announced two recent additions to their coaching staff. Doug Colman, assistant special teams coach, and Alonso Escalante, defensive quality control coach, have been working with the team now for a few weeks.
Colman spent one of his five seasons playing in the NFL with the Browns in 2000, his final season as a player. He also played for the Giants and Titans. He spent four years with the Texans prior to joining the Cowboys last season. Prior to that, he spent 13 years as a coach at the high school and college level and NFL Europe.

Escalante was a part of former Browns head coach Hue Jackson’s staff in Oakland in 2011, spent two years in Tampa 2012-13, two years with the Giants from 2016-17 and was with Arizona in 2018 as part of new defensive coordinator Steve Wilks’ coaching staff.
