And Hammy on the call - does it get any better?
After he hammered that one, his haters would say "Stop standing to admire that one. It's not like that is your 700th career shot. It's only your first big league shot...."
Well, that's EXACTLY it. It was his first big league shot. It was a huge moment for Bobby. You could almost read his body language to hear himself say "FINALLY!" To all the haters out there - get a life.
But there is a really cool follow up to this story. You will see at the end of the video the gentleman that comes up with the ball. I was listening in the car to Sunday's broadcast. It was the mid to late innings - and Hammy and Rosie said either the man with the ball sought out the Indians personnel or they found him. Either way - the ball got back to Bobby Bradley to go home to his trophy case. The Indians then asked him - "Do you want another ball or bat in exchange?" His answer?
"Nah, I'm good. I knew that ball will mean a lot to Bobby, so I just wanted to make sure it got back to its rightful owner."
Whoa. That, my friends, is true class defined to a "T". Well done all.
Make sure you turn the sound way up for the full effect!

That was an absolute bomb. I think he earned the right to watch that ball fly. Especially being his 1st.
People get so butt hurt too easy about BS.
Let the kid enjoy his moment.
I get charged up when I hear Hammy‘s HR calls.! Can listen to that all day.
