This kid appears to be on his way to being a high draft choice in April. His name could be called on Thursday or Friday night because of his status a s a "Swiss Army Knife". It is one thing to have the ability to play anywhere on the line - it is another thing to be good at it. I have lost count how many players have said how difficult it is to flip from one side of the line to the other. Calvin? Not so much of an issue.
His 2018 season consisted of 6 starts at left tackle, 5 starts at right tackle, 1 start at right guard, and 1 start at center. Impressive. One stat that jumps off the page at me is 1133 consecutive snaps without a penalty. Whoa.
38 consecutive starts - man we are bordering on Joe Thomas territory. I will get some vieo highlights tonight.
In this clip, Calvin is the RT. He does a really solid job of keeping the heat off of Hebert, as well as driving the DE where he wants him to go on running downs.
