I can't find an edit button to remove the over-sized logos or an hyperlink button. Sorry.
Stabbs - There are three vertical dots to the right of how long ago you made the post (top right hand corner). Left click on that - and a menu for "Edit Post" or "Edit Comment" should appear. I would do it for you, but it does not give me that option, This software must only allow the one the made the post (you) that option. Good luck.
Thanx Brooksie, you know I found that a while ago and forgot about it. Is there a place where I can post the link of the article source?
Just cut and paste it anywhere in the body of the article or post
Is there an option to PM each other yet, Brooksie?
No, not yet - but I had posted that exact request a few says ago on the site wish list post on the front page. I'll follow up.
Six Combine Snubs Who Fit for The Cleveland Browns
Yet there are several players who did not get invited to the combine who are more than worthy of being drafted. Here are six combine snubs who fit for the Cleveland Browns and should still be considered eminently draft-worthy by GM John Dorsey and his Cleveland staff.
Devine Ozigbo, RB, Nebraska
Ozigbo was nothing special until his senior season in Lincoln, when a slimmed-down and more aggressive version emerged. At just under 5-11 and 220 pounds, Ozigbo shows impressive patience, balance and vision between the tackles. There might not be a better RB in this draft class at selling the play-action fake, and he’s a quality pass protector.
The Browns don’t really need anything other than a role player at running back. Ozigbo’s size and north-south style fits behind Nick Chubb and offers a different dimension than either Duke Johnson or Dontrell Hilliard as a reserve.
My full scouting report on Ozigbo is available at Lions Wire.
Penny Hart, WR, Georgia State
Hart makes for an easy comparison to former Browns slot receiver Andrew Hawkins. Like “Hawk”, Hart has that kind of instant agility in any direction and the ability to embarrass defensive backs in short spaces.
He lacks size at just 5-8 and has smallish hands and short arms, but his quickness and ability to snatch the ball and instantly transition from receiver to runner make him an exciting prospect in the slot. He’s at his best on routes working back to the QB and making that first would-be tackler miss.
Bunchy Stallings, OG, Kentucky
A heavy-handed guard who can reliably move defenders in the run game, Stallings handles bull rushers better than most guards in this draft class. He can sink his hips and drive, as well as anchor in pass protection. While Stallings lacks great mobility and can get caught up in stunts in the passing game, he’s got enough tools to work with to at least merit being a top interior OL reserve. That’s worthy of a late-round selection.
Malik Reed, EDGE, Nevada
Reed was a productive pass rusher in the Mountain West, earning the highest PFF grade of any EDGE in the conference in 2018. He’s got natural bend and burst to close to the ball
Somewhat similar to Genard Avery, Reed can also play off the ball and make an impact in the run and screen game, too. He’s my personal pick to be the first non-combine attendee to get drafted and could wind up being a top-100 selection despite being a combine snub.
Ulysees Gilbert, LB, Akron
Gilbert lacks size (he’s 6-0 and 228 pounds) but he’s one of the fastest LBs in this class. He racked up 346 tackles in three years as a starter for the Zips, and Gilbert has some ability to drop in coverage and even blitz a little. He’s a solid late-round prospect for a Browns defense that lacks depth at LB with his ability to play either the MIKE or WILL backer role right away.
Jimmy Moreland, CB, James Madison
Anyone with six pick-6s in college and 18 career INTs clearly has impressive ball skills. Despite being just 175 pounds, he’s got a great fight/size of dog ratio that serves Moreland well in matching up with bigger receivers.
He does have an arrest in his past which he will need to answer for, Moreland has not had any other trouble during his standout career at one of the elite FCS-level programs. Moreland was the best cover man during Shrine Game week and doesn’t lack confidence or swagger. He’s more than worthy of being drafted.
